Yacon_Syrup_Salad_Dressing_RecipeThis salad recipe is perfect for seasonal garden harvests or for a holiday get together. Delicious, easy-to-make and plenty of good healthy ingredients.

I particularly like the addition of Young Living’s JuvaSpice® in this recipe. JuvaSpice® is a delicious blend of rice seed bran, spinach, tomato flakes, beet root powder, flax seed, oat seed bran, broccoli powder, cucumber powder, potassium chloride, Redmond RealSalt®, dill leaf, barley seed powder, cayenne pepper, ginger powder, slippery elm bark, L-Taurine, psyllium seed husk, anise seed, fennel seed, aloe vera leaf extract powder, and peppermint leaf. Sprinkle it on food such as eggs, baked potatoes, rice, or salads for extra fiber and to support proper digestion.*

Some other ways to use JuvaSpice®: Sprinkle 1 gram (approximately 1/3-1/2 teaspoon) on food (i.e., baked potato, salad, rice, eggs, etc.) or add to 4-8 oz. purified water or rice/almond milk and drink.Or, one of my favorites… sprinkle on pop corn–YUMMY!

The Yacon Syrup (S. sonchifolius) is a natural alternative sweetener, similar to honey, maple syrup, molasses, or sugar cane syrup. Grown in the Andes Mountains and used since pre-Inca times, this delicious sweetener is the perfect choice for beverages, cooking, cereal, baking, and other recipes.

How Yacon Syrup is generally used: Use ¾ cup in place of 1 cup sugar for recipes. You may also need to reduce the amount of liquid, just as you would for honey.
