Guacamole Dip Recipe {with essential oils} | The Lavender Guides

Have you noticed yet that some of Young Living’s best-loved essential oils now labeled for culinary and dietary use? Yes, They’re known as the “Vitality” line and they are specially for cooking with essential oils.

The essential oils in the Vitality line are approved by the FDA for flavoring food and for dietary purposes… so yes, that does mean that some essential oils can be used in culinary and wellness creations.

Note: essential oils are extremely potent with an extremely intense flavor. Never use large amounts of any essential oil, especially in culinary recipes. I need to quantify “large amounts” before we continue… in a recipe like this one, 3 DROPS of either Lime or Citrus Fresh will be WAY too strong, in other words… you will ruin your recipe. So remember, use only 1-2 drops, then taste!

Guacamole Dip Recipe {with essential oils}

You will need…

  • 2 avocados
  • 2 drops Citrus Fresh™ Vitality
  • 1 drop Lime Vitality
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped red onion
  • 1–2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch black pepper

Putting it altogether…

Remove the pit from the avocados and scoop the flesh into a bowl, mashing roughly with a fork.

Add all other ingredients and stir until mixed.

Garnish with cilantro.

Enjoy with tortilla chips or with your favorite Mexican-inspired dishes!
